FORE Hackathon: Powered by People.

"Launch first, build later” won’t work in this market. Unlike most blockchain companies that come to market with nothing but an idea and a whitepaper, the core FORE team has bootstrapped development to build a complete MVP in line with the community launch to allow community members to test out our core functionality.

Upon the launch of our public testnet on Monday, January 16th, users can:

• Create markets on any event or subject matter.
• Participate in markets with market-determined odds.
• Validate markets with an Analyst NFT.
• Mint, buy, or sell Analyst NFTs on FORE Marketplace.
• View personal activity in the user portfolio.
• View their activity against others on various leaderboards.

As a people-powered ecosystem, we want to build a prediction platform that actually addresses user pain points: whether bad odds, counterparty risk, high fees, or a lack of incentives. Ultimately, we want to build a platform that people actually want to use. Through our inaugural hackathon, we want to incentivize and mobilize the community to help us stress test, iterate, and ideate in order to build a truly people-powered predictions protocol. 

A total reward pool of 250,000 FORE will be divided over all bugs submitted based on their weighting (whether medium, severe, or critical), as well as top suggestions for future development including new market structures, gamification elements, and more.

But you don’t have to be a developer or seasoned beta tester to win! An additional pool of FORE will be rewarded over various campaigns for the most liquid markets, the most profitable positions, and the highest power validator NFTs.

In just a few days since community launch, we’ve had an incredible amount of sign ups to access FORE’s MVP. To effectively manage onboarding, the first wave of users to be provided access to the test net has now been selected, and will be emailed on Monday with whitelist and access details.
