FORE HACKATHON IS ENDING

As a people-powered ecosystem, we want to build a prediction platform that actually addresses user pain points: whether bad odds, counterparty risk, high fees, or a lack of incentives. Ultimately, we want to build a platform that people actually want to use. The goal of our Hackathon was to build with you, for you: mobilizing and incentivizing our community to help us  stress test, iterate and ideate to build a truly people-powered predictions protocol. 

And that’s exactly what you’ve done. During the testnet period, thousands of beta testers joined together to create, participate in, and validate thousands of markets on anything from sporting events, to flight delays, to through to Discord rankings. Over this testing period, we reached an incredible total protocol volume of 230 million FORE (23% of total supply), generating 9 million FORE in ‘near’ passive income for users, while burning 3.5 million FORE from supply. Your active involvement, insightful feedback, and crucial bug reports have been instrumental in fine-tuning FORE Predict as we prepare for main net launch.

As we get ready to move into the next phase, we are closing this iteration of our testnet and FORE’s hackathon. 500,000 FORE will be distributed around TGE based on the weighting of bug submissions, feedback, active participation in testing, and leaderboard rankings. We urge all participants to ‘claim’ your rewards and finalize your market positions to secure your leaderboard rankings ahead of Friday when a snapshot will be taken (note: feedback and bug report forms are now closed).
